Vice Minister Lee In-ho delivered his congratulatory remarks during the opening ceremony of the Korean exhibit at the international trade fair Innoprom, currently underway in Russia, on July 9.
Praising the opening of the Korean exhibit for being the first visible step in terms of bilateral cooperation between Seoul and Moscow since the Korea-Russia summit this past June, Vice Minister Lee said that he expects further mutual exchanges to blossom, not only in terms of trade, but also across many sectors, including investments, technology, and culture.
Korea as an official partner country for this year’s fair, a complete national exhibit about Korea has been prepared at the fair venue. Other sideline events, including forums and seminars, are also being organized to promote Korean industry, technologies, and companies, as well as to boost overall Korea-Russia industrial cooperation.
Along with the vice minister, some 300 guests, including Deputy Prime Minister Kim Dong-yeon and Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Valentinovich Manturov attended the opening.
