Trade Minister Ahn Duk-geun attended the "2022 Meeting of the OECD Council at the Ministerial Level (MCM)" in Paris on June 10 under the theme of "The future we want: better policies for the next generation and a sustainable transition.”

 

Minister Ahn discussed measures for preventing unfair competition from trade distortions and carbon leakage, carbon reduction policy adjustments and efficiency improvement.

 

The meeting was attended by 38 countries, consisting of both OECD member states like the U.S. and Canada, as well as non-member states like China and India, and candidate countries like Brazil and Peru.
