Seoul, Korea - The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy announced on October 2 that the Ministry will host the Korea Energy Show 2018, the nation’s largest energy exhibition, at KINTEX in Goyang from October 2 to 5.
During his opening remarks at the show’s opening ceremony, Trade, Industry and Energy Vice Minister Cheong Seung-il said that energy transition is a global phenomenon and that the energy sector needs innovation.
The energy exhibition will highlight the country's energy transition plans and achievements, business consultations for small and medium-sized enterprises, and energy job fair. It will also stage the latest products and technologies of 12 different energy companies.
Generating electricity, solar-powered mini car races, and other various activities will also provide visitors with opportunities to learn about energy and understand the industry.
In addition, the smart energy section will allow visitors to see how information and communication technology (ICT) products, highly-efficient insulation materials, and energy management system (EMS) solutions can enable the smart use of energy. Other sections, seminars, and forums will also take place to offer the public more information about the industry as well as its businesses and technologies.
