Trade, Industry and Energy 2nd Vice Minister Park Il-jun attended the 219th International Seminar of the Construction Vision Forum on November 23 in Seoul to discuss the “current status of nuclear power in the UK and plans for Korea-UK cooperation.”

 

The 2nd Vice Minister stated in his congratulatory message that he looked forward to seeing “Korea-UK nuclear power cooperation expand” and called for the two countries' closer private sector collaboration regarding UK’s new power plant project, joint entry into 3rd country projects and SMRs (small modular reactors).

 

The forum was attended by British Ambassador to South Korea Colin Crooks, Nuclear Industry Association CEO Tom Greatrex and Construction Vision Forum CEO Kang Ho-in.
