The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) announced on September 13 that the world’s largest hydrogen exhibition H2 MEET 2023 is held through September 13-15 at the Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province.

The exhibition features mobile hydrogen refueling stations, hydrogen drones, CCS (carbon capture and storage), water electrolysis device, hydrogen tanks, liquid pipelines and various other items.
A number of special meetings and events are to be held on the sidelines, including the general meeting of the Global Hydrogen Industrial Association Alliance (GHIAA), composed of the representatives of relevant associations and institutions from 21 countries. The Leaders Summit will discuss the latest trends in global hydrogen industry and technology, while Country Day will introduce hydrogen policies of six countries, including Germany, Australia and Canada. The H2 Innovation Award selects companies that showcase innovative hydrogen technology, and an export trade fair will support Korean firms wanting to enter overseas markets.
MOTIE’s Vice Minister Kang Kyungsung expressed in his congratulatory message at the opening ceremony his hopes of H2 MEET 2023 serving as an opportunity for extensive promotion of Korean firms’ technologies and exchange for cutting-edge technology. He added that, “through organic communication with firms, the Government will support the establishment of a hydrogen ecosystem, and actively search out and improve regulations that impede investment.”
